Biography

Guillerme Cury, who goes by Gui, came from Curitiba, Brazil, to the United States in middle school. He always dreamed of being a martial artist and finally at the age of 19, Gui was able to finally start his journey of becoming a martial artist. He went to Wheeler High School where he met Douglas and Dhiego Lima who brought Gui to his very first gym. He competed the first week that he started training Jiu Jitsu. Soon thereafter martial arts became a part of his life.

He started dabbling in all the arts with just a pure curiosity. At the age of 22, Gui took his first mixed martial arts fight. He immediately fell in love training and competing in mixed martial arts. He turned pro in 2011 and now has a record of 8-4- 1. Gui dedicates his life to his family, students and mixed martial arts. In his free time Gui enjoys spending time with his children and enjoying life.
