WHY TEAM OCTOPUS

Team Octopus offers classes for all fitness levels and ages, with the goals of learning new skills and improving health. Many who attend our classes are simply there for good fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, while others are more serious about a career involving mixed martial arts. Kids’ classes are also offered as an introduction to fitness, fun, respect and discipline. Families are important to Team Octopus, as moms, dads and kids can be seen working out together.

We have five locations to service all your fitness needs with more than 400 classes per week and more than 51,000 total square feet of space. The earliest classes start at 6 a.m. and the latest classes end at 9:30 p.m.

BOXING

Our boxing classes are some of the most popular at Team Octopus. Our experienced coaches provide a comprehensive, customized program to push and motivate you to become healthier and more confident.

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is a martial art that promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend himself or herself against a stronger, larger person via proper techniques and leverage. Most fights end up on the ground and this is where Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is extremely useful.

KICKBOXING

Team Octopus has some of the most challenging Kickboxing classes in Atlanta! Each class is designed to elevate your heart rate and maintain elevation for a cardio-intensive, full-body workout.

MUAY THAI

Muay Thai is considered to be one of the most effective styles of fighting and provides a full-body workout. This martial art is a form of kickboxing that originated in Thailand that utilizes kicks, punches, clinches, and strikes with the knees and elbows. Our highly qualified coaches understand that it may be confusing and even frustrating for a student’s beginning phase of training and this is why they encourage students to maintain an open-minded mentality when starting.

KIDS BOXING & BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Enrolling your kids in martial arts is a great way for them to pour their energy into physical activity and away from video games and the TV. They will gain many benefits from these classes that will stay with them for many years. This program is excellent for kids to get into shape and make new friends at the same time.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

In the Strength & Conditioning Class, members of all levels are welcome to join us for a full body workout that will leave you feeling energized and challenged. This class combines strength training and endurance conditioning to provide optimal workouts for new members to more experienced athletes.

This is a very welcoming gym to anyone.
In Sandy Springs, there’s no such thing as an affordable, clean, well run MMA gym with friendly and skilled coaches and staff, great community, weights and showers, and multiple styles of martial arts, that cares about and takes care of its studen… Oh damn look at this place!!! I stand corrected. Five stars, no questions. Go check it out!
